—The easiest way to say it…I’m a sucker for presentation, and I have always loved hosting for my friends and family. For years I contemplated what kind of venture would bring me enough joy to make me branch out on my own. Finally, on some random day and in a split second, I realized sourcing vintage goods and bringing them back to life was going to be it. Not only do I get to go thrifting and estate sale-ing regularly (major job perk!!), but I also get to make a person’s special day even more divine. There is also an immense joy experienced from being able to honor the people that cherished these goods for so many years. Every piece of china and stemware at Ad Astra Wares is truly vintage. There is something so special about holding a glass in your hands that has stood the test of time. Some pieces in our collection are close to and over 100 years old!
